Hunger is closer than you think. 1 in 6 children in Lynchburg City don't know where their next meal will come from. Park View Community Mission recognizes that hungry children can't succeed in school. A child should be able to focus on his or her dreams instead of worrying about when they will eat again. We are on a mission to change lives by feeding the next generation so they can become successful adults. With the cost of food only going up, the growing number of more than 1,000 children we feed weekly in our community need us now more than ever.
