Dr. R. Todd Blake (Todd), Executive Director

Todd began serving with Park View in 2021 after twenty years of serving churches in North Carolina & Virginia. He has a Bachelor's, Master's of Divinity, and a Doctor of Ministry from Campbell University, home of the Fighting Camels. 

Todd is married to Kim, and they have two daughters, Hannah & Emma.  He enjoys playing, coaching, and officiating soccer games, as well as drinking lots of coffee.

Lisa Price, Administrative Assistant

Lisa has been serving as the first-ever Administrative Assistant at Park View since June 2021. She holds a Bachelors in Math Education from Liberty University. 

Although she grew up in the beautiful state of West Virginia, she and her husband, Bob, proudly call Lynchburg "home".  Lisa is the proud mother of two adult sons, Wesley and Evan. She loves talking, solving problems and helping others, which makes this job a very good fit for her!

Ashley Steinweg, Director of Development

Ashley began as a volunteer in 2017 when she helped to establish Food for Thought.  She shifted roles in May 2018, becoming the Director of Development.  While her degrees are in education, her desire to strengthen our community has become her life goal. 

Ashley is married to Brent, and they have three children.  They enjoy hiking and traveling as a family.

Dr. Rebekkah N. McLellan, EdD, MPH, CHES, Development Assistant

 

As a professor at the University of Lynchburg, Rebekkah makes it her mission to cultivate relationships in the community with neighbors and organizations. After a tour in the Fall of 2022, she knew Park View was special. Enamored with their care for neighbors and the focus on kindness and dignity, she joined the staff. Rebekkah has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Biology from Rutgers University, a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration on Global Health, a Doctorate of Education in Health Professions from A.T. Still University and is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).


Born and raised in the Town of Amherst, Rebekkah returned to the area in July 2022 after living in New Jersey, Massachusetts, Indiana, and Nevada. Philanthropy is at the heart of what she does, so she has spent most of her life volunteering and giving back to the animals and neighbors of the Amherst and Lynchburg communities. In her spare time, Rebekkah enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with her dogs and cat. You can usually find her on the soccer field, out at Lake Tahoe, or running through the streets or trails of Lynchburg at dawn.

Heather Gibson, Director, Food For Families & Park View Cafe

Heather has volunteered with Park View Food For Families since 2017.  She started as a staff member in 2020.  Heather has a Bachelors in Fine Art from Virginia Wesleyan College (now Virginia Wesleyan University) in 1998 and worked as a professional picture framer until joining the staff at Park View.  

Heather has 3 siblings and one niece.  She has lived all throughout Central Appalachia and has resided in Amherst County since 1991.

Bri Barnwell, Operations Manager, Food For Families

Bri started volunteering at Park View in 2020, and officially came on staff in 2021. She has a Bachelors degree in Health Promotion from Liberty University. 

Being from Lynchburg, Bri enjoys all the outdoor activities the area has to offer.  Heritage Baptist is her home church and she is thankful to live and serve in this community.

Barb Chase, Director, Food For Thought

Barb started volunteering at Park View in 2016 and fell in love with the ministry that was consistently giving to our community. She officially joined as staff in April 2022.  She holds a Masters in Human Services from Liberty. 

Barb was born and raised in Michigan, but spent most of her adult life in Langhorne, Pennslyvania. She is married to her best friend John, who together have raised four children.  These children grew up, attended Liberty University, settled in Lynchburg and invited mom and dad to move to the area as well.  Now Barb and John embrace the presence of family and seven grandchildren.  She loves people, projects, biking & hiking in nature or at the beach.

Christian Thompson, Warehouse Manager, Food for Thought

Christian began volunteering with Park View in 2021 before becoming the Warehouse Manager at Food For Thought in January of 2023. He holds two Bachelors of Science in Global Studies and Business Administration from Liberty University.

 

Growing up in rural Central Kentucky, Christian and his wife, Kaytlin, have lived in Lynchburg for the past several years and have loved being a part of this beautiful community. They call Bedrock Lynchburg their home church and Christian is an avid sports fan, coffee shop peruser, cook, and can be seen outside work on a Lynchburg walking trail.

Brittany McFadden, Director, Community Resource Center 
 
Brittany began working with Park View Community Mission after meeting the previous Executive Director at a Park View Christmas community gathering in December 2018.  She started and developed the Community Resource Center in January 2019.  Brittany is a senior at Liberty University pursuing a degree in Developmental Psychology. 

Brittany was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia and has lived in Lynchburg for over 25 years. As a single mother, at 18, she utilized critical resource
s in our community. She became a proud homeowner as a single mother at the age of 26 and now enjoys time with her husband and daughter, serving in the community, traveling, and investing.

Monica Link, Director, Life Skills Institute

Monica's admiration for Park View began in 2014 while volunteering.  She received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary & Special Education from Liberty in 2018 and went on to teach for Pittsylvania County & Lynchburg City Schools.  

Monica is originally from New Jersey but has grown to love Virginia and the community of Lynchburg. She and her husband, Dan, were recently married in December 2021.  Monica enjoys going on walks, exploring new places, exercising, and spending time with her beloved family and friends.
